Lenny Kaye Bugayong was born in Zurich. She holds a degree in German language teaching and English Literature & Linguistics (M.A.)

Dr Lydia Kieven obtained her PhD degree in Southeast Asian Studies at the University of Sydney.

Xiujie Wu was born in 1967 in Liaoning, PR China. She studied Chinese Literature, Folklore Studies and Ethnology in Beijing, Shenyang and Berlin.

Christiane Sixtus has been a literary translator since 2016 from English, French and Dutch into German.

Jana Grohnert is a freelance translator from English and German into German and English. She translates fiction for adults and children, and occasionally poetry. 

Carolin Becks has been a freelance translator (Japanese/English into German) since 2016. 

Dr Heike Patschke is a literary translator and interpretor for Japanese.

Dr Rebecca DeWald is a bilingual translator with a PhD in Translation Studies from the University of Glasgow, working with English, German, French and Spanish into German and English.

Anke Caroline Burger completed an M.A. in North American Studies and German Literature at the Free University Berlin and the University of Texas, Austin.
