We Will Present Different Formats

There will be sessions focusing on professional exchange as well as on interesting organisations offering services and opportunities to translators from the German language. We will invite renowned German-speaking authors and, of course, translating colleagues who have translated their works into languages of the Asia Pacific region. We’ll do some trainings and also integrate title pitching sessions. However, networking is king, and we’ll make sure we have sufficient time for that in each session.

Upcoming Session

Session 27: Our Visit to
Frankfurter Buchmesse 2023

Join us on an exciting tour through the world's largest book fair by watching our film we made on the fair ground.

Frankurter Buchmesse in 2023 took place for the 75th time! From 18 - 22 October publishers, authors, translators and visitors from all over the world got together and delved into the world of books.

Meet and greet with us Pernille Starck, in charge of organising the Frankfurt International Translators programme (FIT), Maria Garbutt-Lucero, co-founder of East & Southeast Asian Publishing Network, ESEA, and Annette Hug, author and translator from Zurich.

We will visit the International Stage, the International Translation Centre as well as the Guest of Honour pavillion that offers an insight into Slowenian literature.
