We Will Present Different Formats

There will be sessions focusing on professional exchange as well as on interesting organisations offering services and opportunities to translators from the German language. We will invite renowned German-speaking authors and, of course, translating colleagues who have translated their works into languages of the Asia Pacific region. We’ll do some trainings and also integrate title pitching sessions. However, networking is king, and we’ll make sure we have sufficient time for that in each session.

Upcoming Session

Authors meet Translators

Our guests will be renowned German-speaking authors and, of course, translators who have translated their works into languages of the Asia Pacific region. An opportunity to meet and chat with writers and their literary voices in different languages.

Organisations

Organisations like Goethe-Institut, Frankfurter Buchmesse, Literarisches Colloquium Berlin and several others offer special services and funding programmes that support translation projects from the German language. Representatives of different organisations will inform about their respective tailor-made assistance, funding programmes and services for translators and publishers in the region.
