Christiane Sixtus has been a literary translator since 2016 from English, French and Dutch into German. After several translations of non-fictional books about pottery and gardening she has turned to childrens‘ books and Graphic Novels, but she is also interested in suspense literature, mainly murder mystery and thrillers. Her recent translation is the Graphic Novel „Von Schafen, Schwertern und Amazonen, Teil 1 - Die Nachfolge” from French for children from ten years up (original title: Bergères Guerrières) for Cross Cult (currently in progress in the publishing house), an adventure story reminiscent of the Medieval Age and the Vikings. Christiane is a member of the association of German literary translators (VdÜ) and BücherFrauen e.V. (German Women in Publishing). She is involved in the web editing team (the former) and in the BücherFrauen-Akademie (the latter).
