Diandra Rizkyutami

Diandra Rizkyutami is a certified general translator for German-Indonesian, English-Indonesian, and Indonesian-English, granted by the Association of Indonesian Translators. She holds a bachelor’s degree in German Studies from Universitas Indonesia. Her interest in literary translation was first solidified through a final paper studying the Indonesian translation of Hermann Hesse’s poem “Stufen” by Berthold Damshäuser and Agus R. Sarjono.

Having launched her career by translating novels in university, she has since broadened her expertise in business translation and the subtitling industry. She currently enjoys working as an in-house corporate translator for English in Jakarta. In her free time, she nurtures her literary translation pursuits as a passion project to keep her German alive and a personal contribution to the German-Indonesian literary translation niche.
