About the Book:

Since its appearance 20 years ago, we've sold rights for GRANDPA'S ANGEL into countless languages. The book itself has never fallen out of favor, and not only in Germany has it become an indispensable book on the subject of mourning and saying goodbye. 

About the Author:
Jutta Bauer was born in Hamburg in 1955 and studied design. In 2009 she received the special award for illustration as part of the German Youth Literature Prize. In 2010 she won the Hans Christian Andersen Award.
