About the Author:
Eva Hierteis, born in 1972, has dreamed of writing books since childhood, but never got past the third page. Since then, that has changed. After studying literature and working for a children's book publisher for a few years, she has finally fulfilled her dream and is devoting herself entirely to writing. She lives with her family in Nuremberg.

About the Illustrator:
Franziska Harvey was born in Frankfurt am Main in 1968, but spent most of her childhood in Argentina. Back then, she already liked to draw everything she could get her hands on. After school, she studied graphic design at the University of Applied Sciences in Wiesbaden and has been working as a freelance illustrator for various agencies and publishers since then. Today she mainly illustrates children's books and lives with her family in Frankfurt am Main.
