A tender love story about loss, identity and the
courage to seize life by the scruff of the neck
For Grace, music has always been a means of getting through even the
darkest times in her life. That's why the music project at her school is
the highlight of her year—until she's asked to work with Callum, of all
people. Callum, the arrogant overachiever, for whom only his grades
matter and who will sacrifice anything to follow in his successful father's
footsteps. But Grace's zest for life and her absolute determination to
squeeze as much happiness out of every day as possible gradually
cause Callum's aloof facade to crumble. And as their feelings for each
other grow, Grace desperately tries to hide a secret that could pull the
rug from under Callum's feet...

About the autor:
Sophie Herbst was born in Magdeburg in 1994. After graduating from high school, she worked

was diagnosed with a rare cancerous tumour that almost took away her laughter and her
life. Since 2017, she has therefore been publicly committed to helping other young people affected
by cancer and launched the Krebsgeflüster podcast in 2018. She has been supporting other
authors with their book projects as an editor since 2022.
