After studying literature, Emeline Berton completed her master's degree in translation studies (DE, EN> FR) in Grenoble (France). She worked for five years as a translation project manager in Berlin, but always dealt with the topic of literary translation and in 2019 she took part in the Goldschmidt program for young literary translators, where she got to know the Frankfurt Book Fair. She has been part of the international team at the Frankfurt Book Fair since January 2021, among other things, taking care of Franco-German funding projects for young translators and staff members of publishing houses. In addition to her work at FBM, she also works as a literary translator.
