Pernille Starck studied archeology, history of art and book science in Mainz, Dijon and Heidelberg. After her graduation (M.A.) she completed an internship at Könemann Verlag and worked for the Deutscher Fachverlag. After switching to system gastronomy, she worked for a marketing agency before she started to work with the Frankfurt Book Fair in 2009. She has been part of the International Projects team since 2017 and has been responsible for the Frankfurt International Translators Program and Frankfurt Magazine since 2020.
