Peter Klöss was born in 1962 and lives in Cologne (Germany). He has translated mainly novels and non-fiction from Italian and English for over 30 years. Numerous offices in the German literary translators' association VdÜ, for which he co-negotiated, among other things, the Common Remuneration Rules of 2014. In 2002, he and a colleague founded the agency Brovot & Klöss, which exclusively negotiates contracts for translators.
