Carmen Grau is a freelance conference interpreter and a lecturer at Johannes Gutenberg-University Mainz/Faculty of Translation Studies, Linguistics and Cultural Studies, where she teaches simultaneous and consecutive interpreting from Italian into German.
She holds degrees from the University of Mainz and Scuola Superiore per Interpreti e Traduttori in Rome.
Carmen has extensive experience as a freelance conference interpreter and translator, working with various companies, government institutions, and organizations, among which book fairs and literarature festivals, mostly in Germany and Switzerland.
